Schwinn torque flite

Hey guys
I see alot of talk about predators and blue falcons but little about the torque flight. I bought mine in a bike shop in Savannah Ga that dropped the schwinn in 99. the TF and the blue falcon frames collected dust untill i walked in in 2003. THe Blue Falcon is nice and light, but i think that the TF is by far the cleanist and most beutiful BMX bike frame i have ever seen. (you cant even see the welds) I bought both frames and a schwinn Quality neon sign and a Specialized S werks crank for $350. Considering the TF had a price tag of 798 alone i thought i got a good deal anyways heres a pic. I also got XS pedals and a prototype XS stem to round out the build. it has a matching fork but my current wheels wont fit it, so im waiting to find a new front wheel so i can mount the fork. I was told that these frames were limited edition and they were hand tiged in a custom motercycle shop in california. Does anybody have any info?

stuff

Yeah so it has a riveted badge on the headtube. And concerning the stem, I knew a guy who use to ride street semi pro for schwinn and he tested a stem befor schwin went under. He then handed it to me when he built a new bike up. I dont think it ever went into production. I run it upside down to get more leverage for manuals and such and gives me a smaller cockpit, it also looks more agressive. i will post pics later.

torque flight

I still have my frame and orginal forks yours arent the torque flight fork the stem is what came with the frame and fork tho I have it to. I started with a hydramatic in 98 went to the TF frame and fork they are totally different geometry the TF rides so much better plus it was built in the US unlike the hydra. I went from the TF to a el effe and was not happy with the frame but I am a shorter rider at 5' 7". I never broke anything on the frame broke several bottom cups, snapped some stem bolts, destroyed several 4x4 rims but the frame still good as ever with a few nicks and grind marks i hung it on the wall to retire it they are so heavy I got mine to a honest 32 pounds from 45 when I first started riding it, but my failure weighs 24 light in the front the old schwinn was alot more stable and balanced. I think I might have the original brochure for it aswell i will look to see its been awhile they were hand built by a flat track motorcycle frame builder bob something I think I got mine for 550.00 shop price the 700 was like msrp
