I have never seen nor heard of a '79 KS. All that I know is they started in '81/'82. Send any info to skidmarkmark@bellsouth.net

I would be interested in seeing it.

    Thanks,

    Jim

JD- I bought a couple of 24" NOS forks. They are bigger than my Scrambler forks, but smaller than a 26" fork. I bought them from the oldest Schwinn shop in the world, last week, and they were marked on the tag 24". I even compared them with other 26" Ashtabula forks, and they were smaller, yet when I got home and compared, they are slightly longer than my original Scramblers, and definately bigger than the 20" Hurricane forks.

Anyway, I paid $30 plus the shipping for them. I will keep one, but if you need one, you can have it for $20 plus the actual shipping.

Here is the link. I bolted it up to a Scrambler frame, and it will work, but again, it may be slightly longer than the original. I have never seen an NOS Ashtabula 24" before.
