1969 Apple Krate

I got my Krate in 1969.It was not like the other apple krates.The rear shocks were chrome.Shaped dif.It was purchased in Dayton Ohio.I have never seen the shocks on any other krates.They gave way in about 1972.They were replaced with the kind you see on most of the bikes.Do any of you have any pictures of the old shocks or what they were.Have any of you seen them on any Krates.

Not a 1969 Apple Krate, but an Orange Krate with the factory seat shocks. Post a picture of your bike and this picture will help with the comparison.
